How long it takes to learn mainly depends on several factors: whether you have a mentor, whether you have opportunities for hands-on practice, and whether you are willing to put in serious effort. In my view, learning can start from two sides: foundational knowledge and practical experience. Build up your fundamentals and software skills, then keep observing, studying, and learning more.

What really tests whether you have become fully capable is actually being able to take on a project and do it well. If you can deliver a project successfully, that basically means you’ve made it.
