My personal favorite is the scene in the dry well. The sweetest moment, to me, is when, after crossing countless mountains and enduring so much, you finally earn that beloved person’s sudden glance back. When the one you love is finally moved, and a hopeless turn of events becomes mutual love at last—that may be the sweetest feeling of all.

Suddenly, the person in his arms said softly, “Young Master Duan, I’ve been such a complete fool. You’ve always treated me so well, and I... I...”

Duan Yu was stunned. “Are you Miss Wang?”

Wang Yuyan replied, “Yes!”

Duan Yu had always treated her with the utmost respect, never daring to entertain even the slightest improper thought. The moment he realized it was really her, he was overwhelmed with joy and hurriedly tried to stand and let her go. But the bottom of the well was cramped and filled with sludge.
