If you’re not a heavy user, I’d recommend the Huawei MateBook 13. It fits within the budget range and offers fairly balanced overall performance. As a competing option, Xiaomi’s laptop lineup looks quite nice, but since I haven’t used them myself, I don’t feel comfortable recommending them outright. There is a MateBook configuration with an i5 processor and an MX250 dedicated graphics card that costs a little over 5,000 RMB; if your budget is more flexible, that version may be the better choice. The Asus VivoBook S with similar specs is also worth considering. These models are all lightweight and portable laptops using low-voltage processors, which are generally enough for everyday use, programming, and basic graphics work.

Let me also mention one brand that I personally consider unreliable, as a kind of blacklist reference. Lenovo, along with ThinkPad—which has declined significantly since the acquisition—used to be my go-to, and at one point every laptop I owned was a ThinkPad. But in recent years, ThinkPad has had little advantage other than being more expensive than competing brands. The keyboard, cooling, and materials have all become quite poor. After several bad experiences, it has been added to the list of brands our team no longer considers when choosing computers. For reference only.
