[Answer] What are the secondary master’s disciplines under Electrical Engineering, and what are the future career paths for each?

I majored in Automation, not Electrical Engineering. Based on my rough understanding from friends around me, the directions I know of mainly include power generation, transmission and distribution; high-voltage insulation; power systems; and power electronics. The exact subfields may differ from one university to another, and my understanding is not complete.

That said, I have a few suggestions. If this is for your own university, this kind of information is usually easy to obtain from the university website, public departmental materials, or senior students, and those sources will be more detailed and accurate.

In terms of employment, it is especially important to learn from senior students about the job prospects of each direction and the influence that individual advisors have in the industry.
