The first two replies are both correct: you must wire the motor according to the voltage and connection method indicated on the motor’s nameplate. You cannot simply increase the motor’s power by changing the wiring configuration. If that were possible, the manufacturer would have rated it at a higher power and sold it at a higher price. Trying to do so will only burn out the motor.
