[Answer] Can You Study Electrical Automation If You're Not Good at Science?

At the undergraduate level, most general foundational courses are basically quite similar across majors. Although different majors place emphasis on different areas, for science and engineering students, subjects such as calculus, probability theory, linear algebra, college physics, digital circuits, analog circuits, circuit theory, and engineering drawing are all encountered to some extent (of course, some majors with completely different directions may differ quite a lot in what they cover, such as civil engineering or architecture).

So, if you choose a science or engineering track, my personal feeling is that electrical automation is not necessarily harder to study than other majors at the undergraduate stage. Or rather, compared with pure science majors, engineering majors tend to place more emphasis on application, and their requirements for theoretical depth are clearly far lower than those of typical science disciplines such as mathematics and physics.

On the other hand, because higher education differs very significantly from primary and secondary education in both content and structure, and because the domestic education system does not really provide an appropriate transition or connection between the two, individual adaptability can vary greatly at the university stage. Therefore, rather than worrying about whether a certain major requires much greater depth of knowledge, it would be more useful to prepare early to adapt to the higher education system.
