[Answer] Which Requires More Technical Skill: Robot Debugging & Programming or CNC?

From a purely technical perspective, neither of these is especially difficult. What is difficult is becoming truly proficient and accumulating experience. After a relatively short period of training—say, one to three months—an average operator should be able to become familiar with robot debugging/programming and CNC programming. However, real-world programming must be completed with the machining process in mind and by taking multiple factors into account. This is where programming proficiency and technique come into play, and both are inseparable from experience.

Given the same process, different people may implement the programming in very different ways, and the results can vary quite significantly. From the standpoint of making a living, being highly skilled in either one is enough to establish yourself. But in reality, the two are closely related and not contradictory at all. If circumstances allow, the best path is to specialize deeply in one while also developing competence in the other.
