[Answer] How Is Life Different for People Who Hold the Universe in Their Hearts?
In The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy (I think that’s the one), there’s mention of a form of punishment in which the person being punished is made, through a special telescope-like machine, to see the entirety of the universe in a single instant and to perceive the precise scale of their relationship to its immensity. They come to understand, in a deeply concrete way, just how insignificant they are in the cosmos—and most of those punished immediately break down.
I think this can serve as a reference point for answering and explaining the question of what it means to “hold the universe in one’s heart.” Although it points in a very different direction from what the original poster was probably asking.
