It’s not that you absolutely have to learn programming. After all, there are many different majors, and each one has its own place and practical value. So before learning to code, you should first think carefully about whether you truly want to give up your original field and switch careers to become a programmer. (If I answer this way, maybe people won’t think I’m automatically discouraging graduates from every major and telling them all to go learn Python.)
