[Answer] What Do Top Students Do When They Get Tired of Studying?

As far as I know, when top students get tired of studying, there are roughly two main possibilities.

The first kind: when a top student gets tired of studying and no longer wants to keep reading and learning, they will most likely do something like Bill Gates did and just drop out. That way, they do not have to go to school anymore.

The second kind: a top student gets tired of one particular subject. For example, Pascal grew tired of studying theology, so he switched to mathematics for a year and came up with theorems on conic sections or the like, then went back to studying theology. A few years later, he got tired again, switched to physics for a year, and came up with Pascal's law. Later, I figured God must have worried that if he kept getting distracted by other fields, he might reveal too many heavenly secrets, so He decided to invite him early to heaven to focus on theology there instead (what a pity).
