[Answer] What Is It Like to Study at Chang’an No. 1 High School?

I’m actually surprised to see this question on Zhihu. As an alumnus, I feel duty-bound to quietly show my support.

As for the question itself, there are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand people’s eyes. After so many years, my personal experience from that time may not be all that relevant today. Besides, so many memories and impressions are tied not only to the school itself, but also to the burning youth of those years, and to the friends who accompanied one another as we grew up together—things that are impossible to fully enumerate one by one.

Even Hamlet itself was something I first watched at No. 1 High School, and I’ve never forgotten it since. And those flights of steps, along with the earnest devotion of my teachers, remain in my thoughts even now—memories too deep to fade.
