Simply put, the era when traditional medicine functioned primarily as a highly experience-based profession is gradually passing. However, because of the unequal distribution of medical resources—especially the limits of any individual doctor's experience—misjudgments are hard to avoid, whether diagnosis depends mainly on experience or on medical devices. On the other hand, even experienced doctors may misdiagnose rare cases because they lack the relevant experience or knowledge.

Artificial intelligence trained on large amounts of case data, diagnostic results, and similar information can use machine learning to become a competent robotic doctor and provide diagnostic services for patients. This is both feasible and desirable.

In the field of artificial intelligence, Python is one of the most powerful tools available, and statistics is also indispensable. So if you can develop in this direction and combine medical specialization with AI technology, it could be an excellent choice.

As for whether you should pursue graduate studies, there is no absolute answer. If there is a professor working in this area, then pursuing a master's degree or further study could certainly be worthwhile. But at the very least, learning Python and gaining knowledge in artificial intelligence is highly necessary.
