I’ve recommended several laptops in previous answers. Overall, Huawei’s MateBook seems to get relatively high marks for value for money. However, if you’re just starting your freshman year, you might as well wait until after your first semester, when computer-related courses are about to begin, before deciding. There’s no need to be fully geared up with everything the moment you start university.
